Specialty Hoist Services

Since 1969, Shupper-Brickle Equipment has provided hoists and overhead lifting equipment, including engineered solutions. In addition to hoist inspections and repairs, we offer hoist upgrades for your current equipment, or we can modify manufacturer-standard hoists to better suit specialty environments or unusual spaces.

Modifications to Existing Hoists

To get more from your existing hoist, contact us about upgrades. We modify your equipment in our Clarksburg, NJ workshop with a range of options to improve efficiency, safety and ease of use.

Our experienced sales engineers can describe the options to modify your existing hoist, including:

·         Zinc-plated chain, switched in for your standard chain

·         Pendant cords lengthened

·         Hoist lifting chain lengthened

·         Bullard Hooks, switched in for the standard hook

·         Overload devices, added for enhanced safety

·         Remote controls, replacing or enhancing existing controls

Upgrades to Manufacturer-Standard Hoists

For certain considerations, a new hoist from the manufacturer’s standard line can be modified to accommodate the environment, safety requirements, or space restrictions of the application.  Through this upgrade process, a hoist can be customized exactly for the end use, for example:

·         Hoists modified to suit clean environments for pharmaceutical manufacturing or food processing

·         Dual brake air hoists

·         Hoist lifting chain lengthened

·         Low Headroom & Tight Space Accommodations

·         Customized controls, including a combination of manual and remote controls

·         Overhead systems of one or more hoists custom-engineered for your application
