NOW HIRING: Industrial Technician – Entry-Level, Day Shift, Paid Training
full time, day shift.
Immediate openings for entry-level technicians to work on hoists and cranes in the field. We offer paid training and a good work environment for candidates with mechanical aptitude.
Duties:
-Assist the Service Technician with inspection of overhead hoists and cranes, system installations, equipment repair, and scheduled maintenance at customer locations.
-Strive to learn as much as possible with the goal of promotion
-Assist with shop duties such as shipment loading, inventory packing, clean-up
-Maintain professional appearance, timeliness, and organization in all areas
-Complete job documentation and other paperwork in the field as needed
Paid Job Training:
In weeks 1-2 of employment:
-OSHA 10 certification
-Forklift certification
-Aerial work platform certification
-Competent Person Fall Protection Training
After 90 days of employment:
-Overhead crane inspection certification
-Variable frequency drive installation and programming
- Manufacturers' hoist inspection & repair certification (CM, Harrington & JD Neuhaus)
Required Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year experience mechanical repair work OR a completed vocational degree in a mechanical trade
-Mechanical aptitude
-Able to work with minimal supervision
-Excellent communication skills for direct contact with customers
-Able to work at heights & Able to lift up to 70 lbs
-Valid Drivers License, good driving record, and clean drug test required
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Must be willing to travel as needed to customer locations, occasionally overnight
-Must reside within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ
-Proof of vaccination against COVID-19
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with mechanical or electrical repairs or work on industrial equipment
-Vocational diploma or technical certificate
-Veterans/ armed services experienced
Benefits:
-Base Pay from $20 - $23.50/Hr
-Regular hours 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
